takes place at the Academy of Natural Sciences everyday. Not only do museum visitors learn about the natural world and how
they can be better stewards of the environment, researchers from the Academy's two environmental laboratories and Biodiversity Group
constantly learn new things about how nature works. Did you know that a vibrant and world reknown research program takes place behind-the-scenes in the
Academy's library, scientific collections, and labs?
Academy-made exhibits like Living Downstream give visitors the opportunity to learn both about the subject of the exhibit and about the research we do.
In the "Cool Science" part of Living Downstream, a pair of touch screen computer kiosks offer you the opportunity to view video stories showing environmental scientists at work
in watersheds such as the Schuylkill River, Delaware Estuary, and Chesapeake Bay.
