Academy on the Go

brings the excitement of a museum visit--complete with specimens, live animals, audience participation and expert naturalists--to you. The Academy's teacher/naturalists transform auditoriums and classrooms into a natural science experience that students don't soon forget.

Academy on the Go brings Watershed Lessons to you!

Following are descriptions of the new watershed programs that we bring to you. NOTE: For a limited time, these new watershed programs are available at a special introductory price!

Water, Water Everywhere NEW!
Grade: 3-5
Today, much of the world's fresh water is not clean enough to drink or to provide homes for aquatic organisms. Get your hands wet discovering ways water becomes polluted and investigating creatures that live in water. Learn about what Academy scientists do by conducting one of their experiments.

What's Your Watershed Address? NEW!
Grade: 6 through 8
We all live in a watershed, but what exactly is a "watershed"? Through the use of interactive models, you will learn about watersheds and how human activity on land affects water. Your class works as a team of aquatic ecologists to determine water quality.
